Long-term partnerships secured until 2031

The LONGINES CHI CLASSICS BASEL are paving the way for the future. LONGINES has extended its commitment as the event’s title sponsor and timekeeper until 2031, while Bank J. Safra Sarasin has confirmed its role as the event’s gold sponsor until 2028.

This long-term extension of the title sponsorship further reinforces the stability and international significance of the LONGINES CHI CLASSICS BASEL. «We are delighted to continue the successful partnership between Longines and the LONGINES CHI CLASSICS BASEL. This competition ranks among the most prestigious equestrian events in the world, embodying tradition, elegance and performance — values that have defined Longines since its foundation nearly two centuries ago», says Patrick Aoun, President and CEO of Longines.

Bank J. Safra Sarasin, which has supported the tournament since 2011 as the presenting partner of the LONGINES FEI JUMPING WORLD CUP™, will also remain on board, continuing to play a key role in the event’s growth and positioning. «Long-standing personal relationships that span generations are extremely valuable to us, and we nurture them with great care. This is also evident in our collaboration with the LONGINES CHI CLASSICS BASEL. It is an honour to have been associated with this exceptional equestrian event from the very beginning, and we look forward to many more thrilling competitions», says Yves A. Sarasin, Head of Private Banking Switzerland at Bank J. Safra Sarasin.

These renewed partnership agreements underscore the mutual trust and shared commitment to continuity, quality, and international appeal. «This planning security for the coming years is tremendously important to us. We are deeply grateful to be shaping the future alongside such loyal partners», says CHI President Thomas Straumann.
