Géraldine Straumann has been nominated for the FEI Rising Star Award!

The international equestrian federation FEI (Fédération Équestre Internationale) has announcedits nominations for this year’s FEI Awards. In the “Rising Star” category, Basel show jumperGéraldine Straumann has been nominated.

The award is decided through a combined system:

• 50% public online voting
• 50% by a panel of international equestrian experts

The winners will be honored at the FEI Awards Gala on November 7 in Hong Kong (HKG).

Géraldine Straumann – A fast-paced career
At just 21 years old, Géraldine is already a permanent member of Switzerland’s elite show jumping team. A special milestone in her career was her participation in the FEI European Show JumpingChampionships in A Coruña (ESP), which enabled her to reach the highest level in the sport. She also competed successfully at the CHI LONGINES CLASSICS BASEL in January 2025.
