First Grand Prix victory for Kim Emmen

The LONGINES Grand Prix over 1.60 metres goes to Kim Emmen. The Dutch rider secures her first Grand Prix victory ever. «I am of course very happy – my first Grand Prix victory, that’s something very special,» said Emmen after her success. This brings the tournament day in Basel to a close with three victories for female riders.

The best Swiss rider was Steve Guerdat, who came ninth with Lancelotta. Martin Fuchs came 14th with L&L Lorde and is optimistic about their progress: «I am very happy with the progress we are making together. We are not far off achieving the results we want.» Looking ahead, he added: «I am looking forward to the World Cup on Sunday.»
