Bid submitted for the 2025 or 2026 World Cup Final

As announced at the media conference in mid-November 2021, we have submitted a bid for the 2025 or 2026 World Cup Final in the disciplines of show jumping and dressage. The conclusion and climax of the indoor season always takes place at the end of March/beginning of April. This year, Leipzig (GER) is the venue. Omaha (USA) is next in 2023 and Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has the honour in 2024. The decision on the 2025 and 2026 venues will be made in June this year. Dr. h.c. Thomas Straumann, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the LONGINES CHI CLASSICS BASEL, says: «We are sticking to our ambitious goals. Even though the renewed cancellation of our tournament hurts us, especially in view of our candidature for the World Cup Final. We would have been only too happy to prove that we are ready this year with a great event and the integration of dressage into our programme for the first time.»
