FEI Vaulting World Cup Final with the stars of the scene
The FEI Vaulting World Cup Final will be held for the first time as part of the LONGINES CHI CLASSICS BASEL. Eight Vaulters each in the women’s and men’s categories and five duos are eligible to compete. Katrin Meyer (GER) and Jannik Heiland (GER) have been announced as the two defending champions. Ilona Hannich (SUI), Alina Ross (GER), Eva Nagiller (AUT), Nadja Büttiker (SUI) and Sema Hornberg (GER) will also be competing in the women’s event. The men’s event will see competitors Quentin Jabet (FRA), Theo Gardes (FRA), Thomas Brüsewitz (GER), Viktor Brüsewitz (GER) and Andrin Müller (SUI). The remaining participants will be finalised after the last qualification in Sao Paulo (BRA).
Diana Harwardt & Peter Kühne (GER) and Rebecca Greggio & Davide Zanella (ITA), the silver and bronze medallists from the last final, will be competing in the Pas de Deux. European champions Romana Hintner & Eva Nagiller (AUT) and the two Swiss duos Li Laffer & Ilona Hannich and Zoe Maruccio & Syra Schmid complete the field of participants.
The technical test on Friday afternoon from 1 p.m. and the freestyle on Sunday morning from 9.30 a.m. will decide who will be crowned 2024 World Cup Final winners.
